This week it was announced that 1300SMILES Dentists, founded and led by Dr Daryl Holmes, is joining Abano Group as a new brand beside Maven and Lumino.
1300SMILES Dentists has grown from a single practice in 1992 to a 34 strong practice network to become one of the best known and respected dental support organisations in Australia, with a successful ASX listing for the last 16 years.
Dr Daryl Holmes has pioneered and perfected a range of innovative marketing techniques which led market leading dentist utilisation rates. His extensive and practical knowledge of dentistry means that he intimately understands the needs of the dentists and practices that the 1300SMILES Dentists team supports. His vision for at scale affordable dental care came to life over the years with the growth of the 1300SMILES Dentists brand. Dr Daryl Holmes will hand over the day-to-day operational reins and will support the Abano Group Senior Leadership team and their CEO Sinead Ryan, focusing on supplier relationships, dental innovations and the continued expansion of the network. Of course, he will continue his dentistry in Townsville as he has done for the last 30 years.
Joining the Abano Group will allow 1300SMILES Dentists to scale further as it cements its place in Australian dental history as a household brand.
