1300SMILES is delighted to introduce Dr Jason Mitchell to our Buderim practice. Dr Jason Mitchell has over 30 years of extensive dental knowledge. He performs all general dentistry, with a special interest in crown and bridge work, endodontics, and clear aligners.
Dr Mitchell relocated to Australia from South Africa with his partner Deidre and daughter Jaimie. He has been working with 1300SMILES for over 12 years, first in Townsville, before moving to the Sunshine Coast where he is now located, assisting the Buderim community. Dr Mitchell enjoys activities such as jet skiing and motorbike riding with his family when he is not treating patients. He also loves to walk and tries to live a healthy outdoor lifestyle.
1300SMILES is delighted to introduce Dr Chun Kwan to our Buderim practice. Dr Chun Kwan qualified in Scotland in 2013 and has continued to accumulate experience and dental knowledge through continued education and clinical training. Her performs all general dentistry, including dental implants, and puts your comfort and dental needs at the forefront of his mind.
Dr Kwan relocated to Australia from the UK in late 2019 with his wife, Vivien, who is a teacher at our local school Siena Catholic College. When not in surgery, Dr Kwan enjoys an outdoor lifestyle, and loves spending time with his daughter, wife, and beloved puppy.
Meet Sarah, a devoted and compassionate dentist who has brought her skills and enthusiasm to the Sunshine Coast community and the team at 1300SMILES. Sarah brings a unique perspective to the field of dentistry, with her experiences growing up in both Sri Lanka and Australia. This multicultural experience has instilled a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and a better understanding of the different backgrounds and experiences of the patients she serves.
Through her volunteer work in dental clinics in both developed and developing countries, Sarah has gained a unique understanding of the experiences and challenges faced by her patients. Sarah has a passion for dentistry, having known from the age of 8 that she wanted to become a dentist. She worked tirelessly to make her dream a reality, ultimately earning a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Sydney. Sarah believes that it is vital to create a positive and welcoming environment for patients, making sure their needs are heard, and valued.
Sarah is committed to providing quality dental care to her patients, working closely with them to create individualised treatment plans tailored to their specific needs. When she's not in the office, Sarah loves to spend her free time exploring the Sunshine Coast. She enjoys picnicking, participating in local trivia nights with friends, frequenting the local farmers markets and playing with her sausage dog Murphy
