Meet The Team
- DR ADELYN YEO
Dr Adelyn Yeo completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide. Since then, she has been in general private practice in Adelaide. She is committed to her profession and has worked to increase the profile of younger dentists by chairing the Recent Graduates’ Committee of the ADA from 2008-2010. She regularly attends continuing education seminars and is a member of the Australian Society of Periodontology. She also spent time as a Clinical Tutor at the University of Adelaide.
Besides clinical dentistry, the aspect of dentistry that she enjoys most is the interaction with her patients. Dr Yeo firmly believes in treating the person and not just teeth. She prides herself in providing caring, gentle dentistry and is great at making anxious or nervous patients feel comfortable.
Dr Yeo also has many other interests that include art, cooking and baking. She holds a Graduate Diploma in Art History and a Professional Certificate in French Pâtisserie from the École Nationale Superiéure de la Pâtisserie, France. She also speaks French and Malay.
- DR DILAN PATEL
Dr Dilan Patel has several years of experience treating patients in both public and private practice. He is a clinical tutor at University of Adelaide and enjoys developing undergraduate dental students in their clinical abilities.
Dr Dilan is also involved in post-graduate research at the University of Adelaide and has completed a postgraduate honours degree. He has a gentle nature and ensures he is always available to his patients and their needs.
While not at work Dr Dilan enjoys travelling and spending time with his young family.
- DR MARYAM ALAVI
Dr Maryam Alavi is an experienced practitioner with a successful career record mainly in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She has an eye for details and is extremely passionate about providing her patients with the best possible treatment options. Dr Alavi believes today’s dentistry can offer more than just treating an infected tooth or restoring a broken filling, dentistry today is also capable of giving the patients the confidence of looking good through a myriad of Aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry procedures like: smile make over and Smile Design for which she has done a specialized one year course following her graduation.

- DEB NELLIGAN
- Dental Hygienist/Therapist
Deb has been involved in Dentistry for over 40 years, having first graduated as a Dental Therapist, and later as a Dental Hygienist.
Deb spent her early years working in the School Dental Service on the Eyre Peninsula, specialising in all aspects of children’s dentistry including restorative and preventative care. After graduating as Dental Hygienist in 1995, Deb has worked in private practice in Port Lincoln and from 1999 in Adelaide.
Since 2001, Deb worked as a dual qualified Dental Therapist and Hygienist, being one of the first in South Australia to gain dual registration. Deb has also been involved with clinical tutoring since 2006 with the University of Adelaide. Deb is passionate about providing expert dental hygiene care and periodontal maintenance and advice. As well as being involved in clinical tutoring with The University of Adelaide after 2006. When Deb is not at work, she thoroughly enjoys cycling and travelling.
- STEVEN HO
- Oral Health Therapist
Steven Ho is an oral health therapist who is concurrently working in a specialist periodontal practice and possesses the invaluable experience, skill and knowledge in managing and preventing periodontal (gum) diseases. In addition to his special focus on gum diseases, he is an expert in the dental concerns of children and adolescents.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Adelaide, Steven is committed to excellence providing not just the maintenance and preservation of natural teeth, cosmetic and re-constructive dental work but a beautiful smile in a friendly and caring manner.
Attending professional seminars and conferences regularly, he continually broadens his skills and knowledge to provide quality care to his patients. Steven is also a proud member of a number of professional dental societies.
- DR. HARPREET NARULA
Dr. Harpreet Narula studied a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Government Dental College and Hospital, Punjab, India – Year 1999-2004 and a Master of Dental Surgery, (Periodontics), Government Dental College and Hospital, Punjab, India – Year 2005-2008

Along with general dentistry, Dr Harpreet has a special interest in treating gum related problems and conditions (periodontal diseases) in patients. Placing as well as restoring dental implants, crowns, bridges, dentures is also an area of interest for Dr Harpreet. Dr. Harpreet’s caring nature is well suited for treating children and adults with dental anxiety. Among many other skills, her approach in comprehensive dentistry, helps patients achieve optimum oral health with aesthetics and function.
While Dr Harpreet isn’t at work she enjoys reading, listening to music or going on long walks. At home she has a Husband Dr Jasvindes who is also a dentists and a son Tejasvar and daughter Banita.
