Hi, my name is Karen Ward and I am the Child Dental Therapist for 1300SMILES. I divide my time between the Upper Ross Practice full time, Friday mornings and one Saturday a month at the Douglas practice.
I have 20+ years experience in working with children aged from 4 years to 17 years, and the last 4 years have been spent working for 1300Smiles.
I am passionate about teaching children from a young age how to care for their teeth and maintain good oral hygiene. Most children are more comfortable and relaxed in my special child friendly rooms and I offer a fun experience for the whole family while at the same time building a lasting connection to my 
patients.
I pride myself on the positive outcomes of my treatments. I love children and I love my job and could not think of anything more rewarding than receiving the respect, trust and confidence in my profession that I get back from my patients and their families.
