About Dr Daryl Holmes OBE
Dr Daryl Holmes began his professional career in the RAAF as a dental officer, before beginning his own dental practices over twenty years ago in the rural towns of Home Hill and Ayr. His vision to offer high-quality, affordable dental care for the whole family has seen the company grow from its original locations to become a successful business, stretching across the east coast of Australia from Queensland to New South Wales. In October 2018, Daryl received an OBE at an investiture held at Buckingham Palace for services in P.N.G. with YWAM Ships.

1300SMILES is proactive in assisting dental staff in continuing education, including on-the-job training and sponsored accredited training. Practice managers are encouraged to achieve their Certificate IV in Practice Management and we have an extremely well-supported trainee program that helps young people begin their professional career in dentistry through qualifying for their Certificate III in Dental Assisting (Dental Nursing).
