Recently the first of many scheduled skill development sessions was hosted by 1300SMILES for their Dental Assistants as part of the company’s attention to developing their team’s talent and ongoing commitment to training.  The session was hosted at their Belgian Gardens practice with 12 participants focussing on their clinical skills and the art of 4 handed dentistry. The session was attended by both qualified DA’s (dental assistants) and those completing their traineeship program. Topics covered included fourhanded techniques, sterilisation and sharps safety awareness.  This fun and educational night proved to be a great success.
